: I'd find someone with a poly kayak with a coaming the size you like
: (and can borrow), cover the coaming with packing tape, couple
: layers to make sure the epoxy doesn't get to the poly, then lay
: up glass/epoxy on it to make a mold for the 6 coamings. The
: epoxy won't stick to the poly if you do get any on it, well not
: well enough that you couldn't get it back off. Just make sure
: there's no reverse angles on the coaming otherwise will be tough
: getting the mold off the parent boat.

That seems like a pretty good plan for making any carbon coaming, no?
