: If you rig your boat right, getting bags in and out is a snap. All
: you need is a pulley cord looped around either a dowel in the
: bow or the forward-most deck beam if your boat isn't fitted with
: an appropriate dowel. Fit your bags with a loop at each end that
: you can clip to loops on the pulley cord. That way, you can pull
: bags in or out with ease, in the photo, you can clearly see the
: cord and the dowel in the bow of the boat that it loops over.
: A pulley cord can be retrofit to an existing boat using a weighted
: line. It works best with a dowel all the way up in the bow, but
: even using a deck beam makes installing bags a lot easier.
Yeah I know, it would have been really helpful if I'd read this idea of yours "before" I covered that boat .
Downside of my covering method, it's permanant, so it won't have the cover replaced when it wears out, it doesn't wear out, awfully difficult to crawl up into the tiny bow and impossible in the stern, only have about a 3" gap in the frames.
