I have decided to refinish my redfish King and get rid of some problems that have been bothering me. The issue is a significant amount of cloudiness on the right front quarter of my boat. It got cloudy there shortly after the epoxy cured and has been bothering me since. Perhaps my mix ratio was wrong, or maybe there was moisture in the mixing cups, or maybe it was a consequence of epoxy plus high louisiana humidity. It looks like I will have to reglass that quarter since I have to sand to bare wood to get the cloudiness out. I don't plan on reglassing the entire boat, so I hope this works and is cosmetically acceptable. I will also be patching some dents where the weave is visible. I have done small patches before that are practically invisible, but never on such a large area, so I hope this comes out right.
