You shouldn't need to scrub between coats, and definitely not with detergent. You don't want to be exposing the epoxy to contaminants.

Get the shop warmed up and glass while the temperature is falling.

You are ready for fill coats when the previous coat won't take a fingerprint indentation but will take a fingernail dent.

You will just know when the next coat is a viable proposition. It just feels right.

Glassing for the first time is more daunting in the imagining than it turns out to be in practice.

Make sure everything you need is at hand before you start.

Concentrate when measuring mix ratios.

Mix well

Don't panic

That is all you can and need to do.
