I don't think getting the right temperature will be much of an issue. Here in Ohio is in the 90's during the day and 70's, at night at least for next few days.

@Rob : not a manual for say. I have been going off of "The Strip-Built Sea Kayak", "Kayakcraft: fine woodstrip kayak construction" and your web site along with others...
Also I have some cross grain sanding scratches (yes I know allays sand with the grain ... ) which your state will show up like a sore thumb in a clear layup. I was wandering just how much scratches and minor imperfections (gaps about 1/32 or less ) are magnified after finishing? I am hesitant to do any more sanding because even with a long fairing board and fresh sand paper (changing every 5 min or less) the softer wood is starting to cup out. It is not extream but it is noticeable when you run your hand over it. I would say 5 to 15 mills max.
