Thanks Tom! Though I don't deserve any credit for that 14' baidarka (well other than building her), it was Wolfgang Brink's design. I like it though as a day boat, it accelerates well, paddles nicely at a decent speed and has less drag than my 16.5' boat.
I think the best thing about small boats is that they are portable. It would suck getting a full size into some of the lakes I paddle on.
