From the title, is sounds like another Robert N(o longer a free agent) Pruden,
but I have just spent the afternoon starting to join the top and bottom of my Guillemott.
I have used 18" lengths of 2" tape, 1" stuck with resin to the inside ends of the hull:-
waited 'till it had gone tacky, then coated the visible half above the sheer with thickend
(not quite peanut butter) resin, piled the excess onto the triangular tops of the internal
stem and stern. Placed the deck on two 2"x2"s and then removed them one at a time to
lower the deck into position. A small brush on long stick a la Nick was used to dab the strips
into good contact after firmly taping the ends together. I have also added a couple of
resin tacks towards the centre of the boat to help the tapes keep it all in line.
All went like a dream. Start on taping the rest of the insides tomorrow.
