Well, my Redfish Spring Rung kit arrived this week and I got it all down into my basement. This is longer than I thought!
I have the shipping box, with strips, stretched out on top of two Workmate benches for now. This is nice and stable.
I might go ahead and make two sawhorses though. That would give me better ways to store the strips underneath the strongback.
I'm taking a bit of time here to get setup properly before diving in. I am stoked! My goal is to get this done before next summer (hah!).
We're putting our house on the market in the spring so, I surely should get it done within a year.

I'm a little torn between spending some more time paddling, before it gets real cold here in New Hampshire, and starting the project.

Anyway, just am excited and am reading about strip building as much as possible before starting. I have the building guide from Laughing Loon, the book by Nick Shade,
and some videos I bought from Newfound woodworks (not to mention the instructions from Redfish).
