I finally gave in and put one on my prototype Long Shot. I framed it to light and as it has gotten older I think it has developed more rocker. I started large and cut it back a couple time to find that sweet spot. While I miss the quicker turning I sure love having the tracking back when I get caught in the wind. I have always thought the Guillemot would be an ideal candidate for a retractable skeg. Give you best of both worlds.
