I am going to add to this with the suggestion to get a webcam with a cord long enough to reach inside your boat. Stuff the webcam into kayak, view webcam on your computer, and tada you can now to arthroscopic surgery without having to put your head where the fumes are. Tape some chisels to some sticks, or a solvent rag and you should be in business.
