Thanks for the info. The pic of your SR is one source of inspiration that helped me select that model for my first build. I will use it mostly on lakes
up here in New Hampshire, maybe graduate to some ocean soon as well.
Right now I have the strongback ready, supported by two workmate benches I had sitting around. I trimmed the shipping crate to 16' to make the strongback.
I like your idea of blocking the interior of the strongback. I've attached all the risers and the forms and am going through the process of alignment. I'm taking my time so I don't screw up. I imagine I've put in 3-4 hours so far .. going slow.
