Anyone know what type of plastic, or what prep, I can use to take notes on when I'm on the water?
I had a scuba divers pad, $10, very small....
Joanna at Southwest Kayak at one event handed out large strips of white plastic that she said were very cheap, and I forgot to get one....

What I might try is sanding a piece of plexiglass with 220 grit. I've got several clear pieces for framing photos.

Also might it be time to update the Subject headers for this blog? There's building of course, and all the related topics. How about: Fittings (foot braces, pumps, deck lines, rudders, skegs.... etc..) Equipment (pdfs, flares, paddles, radios, clothing?), What would the topic of roof racks, storage, maintenance, loading & unloading, carts be called?
