I'm building a guillemot and I'm not sure about the cockpit area. I have stripped the bottom half and flipped the kayak over to start on the decking side. I have installed the sheer strips, but I started to think about the cockpit area. The cock pit flattens out so I am not sure how the strips will go. do I strip just a few inches past forms 7 & 11 and trim them off, or do I bend the strips to follow the formers between 7 & 11?
