I'd like to add that Burnham's customer service is practically non existent as several inquiries
into why it was taking so long to get the slings ( 7 weeks) went unanswered. It wasn't
until I threatened to cancel the order that I was finally told that the optional wide slings (19")
were on backorder and I was then given a shipping date.

When the slings finally arrived, they didn't include the correct adapter for Thule/Yakima bars, so that
oversight led to another delay. There were a couple of other issues also.

This is not a company I care to deal with again though I like the slings a lot and feel that rowing
shell cradles are an excellent alternative to more common kayak carriers, especially for cars with narrowly
spaced bars.

In the future I'll make my own :)
