Sean,
My first Iggy weighs about 30 pounds with 4 oz E glass, just changing to 3.2 S glass took almost 2 pounds of weight off. I think it's mostly in the reduction in epoxy. Only thing I've found with 3.2 is you have to really watch the bubbles, the tight weave wants to trap air.
