have to say even though I cringe

Nothing. I beat the snot out of my boats. I seal launch into surf from cobblestone beaches. Land on rocks. Drag them fully loaded up rocky shores. My kayaks get beat up. Why? Because it's a kayak and that's what kayaks do. :)

If it really bothers you, you could wet exit and always swim in. On really bad beaches, I'll put my feet out in deep water, paddle in and jump out of the boat in a couple of feet of water and then walk it in. I've seen someone paddle close to a rock with a drop off next to it, stand up and then step onto the rock.
