I figure, I'll get about 9-10 years of use out of this set-up, between our two kids. This seems reasonable to me. This projection doesn't take into account any "blossoming" on my part, but luckily I'm not seeing a desk job in my near future. I'm committed to building efficiently: no staple-less extra fancy inlay stuff here. I will take a look at SOF, though.
