I just use two pair of eye-bolts and a pair of cam-buckle straps per kayak. With long enough straps that form a loop waist high it is easy to insert the kayak and then suck it up tight to the ceiling by pulling the straps tight. In comparison the block and tackle on the canoe is a waste of time.
