As this is my second Spring Run, I knew from the first build that the standard cockpit opening with the thigh braces installed would not allow be to pull up both knees at the same time. I wanted a more comfortable cockpit for lazy paddling where I could easily pull up my legs for a stretch and even prop my feet the forward deck. I think I'm going to like this size for the intended purpose. And, I've still got several other boats with standard cockpits for use when a spray skirt is called for....
