I am just about finishing my Guillemot L. I had similar problems and I agree with all the techniques. I cannot fully see from the pic; but, it looks like you have a gap at the sheer strip. If you close this gap does this pull the others strip close or on the forms. If so, you could dap a little hot glue ( use a hot glue gun) on the sheer strip (only) and tie a rope or clamp around the kayak and continue stripping the kayak. I had problems on station 2 towards the waterline. This is where the station starts to curve out to the keel line. This is difficult because the station 3 and others curve round while station 2 curves out. I also had problems because I built a stapless kayak, (well almost stapless).
