: and wipe down several times with denatured alcohol then apply
: the Behrens powdered aniline dye mixed with water onto the areas
: that need the print-thru hiding. After this dries - varnish the
: whole boat again. As for the drip lines, I will proceed as you

wet/dry 320 would not do it. So, I used 220grit lightly and managed to remove grit and dust and prepared the surface for the next coat of varnish. Will use 150grit on areas that are to be dyed. Prep today varnish tomorrow.
