You are right Frank, I think I just might nail it this time. I seriously doubt I will ever use Rustoleum again...auto paint is simply gorgeous on a deck. The biggest challenges for this kind of deck art is to get the deck super smooth, take time to tape off the graphic, and make certain those tapes are down good. This is the first time I had no bleeding while using electrical tape. I must have got the surface of the deck super smooth, something I worked hard at. The beauty of using electrical tape to create the graphics is that it bends around corners well due to its flexibility and it carves up nicely without lifting if you cut a graphic out of a layer of it. The rest of the art work is gonna take me a lot of time, I have to create a maple leaf stencil then lay out 12 of these leaves along the deck, epoxy and sprinkle them with the metal flake. I have already figured out the fastest method to git 'er done so all I need to do now is git 'er done.
