Spent a hour driving to the local Woodcraft only to find out that the couldn't find the scraper that they had set a side for me.

For trueing glass overlaps, I find a carbide scraper blade lasts
: longer and works better. On my first boat I took the carbide
: cutter out of a cheap knife sharpener, and it worked reasonably
: well clamped in a small vise grip plier. For the next boat, I
: bought a Bahco three bladed scraper which with some slight
: shaping to round corners, should do a fine job.

: blades do fine if they are shaped rounder and the corners are
: rounded. As mentioned by others, they are easy to sharpen by
: clamping in a vise and using a file.
