OK... So we have confirmed that its nuts. That doesn't mean it can't be done if done correctly. If it were only Popsicle sticks then I would consider it a waste of time. That's why I am layering fiberglass in it. I know people have layered carbon or fiberglass inside the layers of a lamination before. The inside layers are completely necessary in my book. I want them to be as thin as possible to reduce the over all thickness of the blade. Is 4oz too thin? Is it necessary to cover the outsides with fiberglass or just epoxy to protect the wood?
How much epoxy am I needing too?
In reality all I'm doing is making my own plywood. The loss of strength of using Popsicle sticks is being countered with the fiberglass. The novelty of it is whats so appealing to me.
I don't have experience with epoxy or fiberglass, so go past the nuttiness of the idea and help me out.
