OK so I lied when I said the Flaming Gorge trip a couple of weeks ago would be my last trip of the season. The snow storm moved on and we enjoyed a paddle with only slight breeze and temps in the low 70's. Heidi had a couple days off school so we spent 2 1/2 days paddling on Lake Powell from Bullfrog north and a day playing on the way home. She did well including a 23 and 27 mile day and a total of just under 60 miles for the trip including hiking a fun slot canyon. No original or particularly nice photography here, it was not the focus of the trip. Just a good time with my 17 year old daughter. We spent one night with my good friend Dave (from other slide shows) and his wife Valarie. We also ran into a great paddling group from Maine a few times. We hoped to meet up with them to camp the last night but Heidi kicked in and decided to beat her one day mile record and we paddled all of the way out that night.
