: For the kind of cable you want

: 7 x 19 is the most flexible

: 7 x 7 may be usable

: 1x19 is stiff, for skeg cable but no good for rudders

: Google rigging wire or ss rigging wire for something closer to home
: They also do swages etc for splicing loops on the cable

: Et

This may be useful too for these kind of fittings
