Well, it would be a fiberglass boat, there's a whole bunch of production fiberglass boats on the market that work fine.

It's like my method of building a SOF except that you'd add a lot more glass and then take out the frame. I can make a single skin SOF easily this way, the more glass you add though the more finish work it requires. Still, it'll work fine. Easier to start out with heat shrinkable Dacron for a base and leave it in place, then you have an easy surface to glass over and adds very little weight and you have a nice smooth inside this way too.
