I'll second that. I used some on my daughters' first kayaks. The skins lasted about two seasons and that was being gentle with them. I think a single layer of epoxy-coated 4oz Dacron would be tougher...
It's too bad that clear urethane Blue Hawaii uses on their clear SOF's isn't available. It's supposed to be a lot tougher than the clear PVC.
