Hmmmmm, why not try adapting the traditional woodstrip build process? (Or maybe this is more plywood/strip hybrid.) Make the hull & deck separate, then join. Loosely, it looks like:

1. use hull forms, Yost if you like. Cover with peelply/tape as you mentioned.
2. fiberglass the hull. Leave the sheer (bottom edge while on forms) long
3. flip the hull, remove the forms. Maybe add reinforcement glass to stiffen the hull.
4. Insert deck forms into hull. Peelply/tape as previous.
5. Trim hull sheer edge to match design line.
6. Fiberglass the deck. Remove from hull & forms.
7. Attach the deck to hull.
8. Finish/outfit/paint.

If anyone tries this and it works, please call it a "Handrick-style build". ;-)
