I think the kevlar would be as heavy as the CSM, kevlar tends to drink resin with hand lay-ups.

Even an s/k/s/k layup, the panels will flex quite a bit. I recall FG chine hulled boats with externally smooth panels but they all had lengthwise D-shaped stringers molded into the interior surface to stop panel flex. Many frameless FG production chined boats have a lapstrake effect to keep the panels from flexing. Much.

You might be able to put a "frame and stringers" in when laying up the FG with glass strips run cross-wise and length-wise before the main lay-up. Fairing could be a problem.

D-shaped stringers wouldn't have to go full length. If you put bulkheads in, the D's could go to just beyond the forward bulkhead and an equal distance aft from the widest part of the panels.

I still think the idea is as mad as a bucket of ferrets. :D
