: I have built using both methods. The bead and cove if set up
: properly and done on consistent thickness strips is a joy to
: use. I built a 2 router setup that has produced a lot of linear
: feet of B+C. The bevel method is much more flexible. You have to
: ruin a strip or two to figure out how it works with your eyes,
: but then your set. It allows for the fancy deck-work that you
: see so much here. If you built the deck in 2 or more colors of
: wood and use B+C the lines could move out of alignment as you
: faired/sanded the boat.

If a tool is sharp enough to cut wood, it's more than sharp enough to cut you, fingers cut really easy. Leather gloves save lots of skin, but don't trust them to do it or you'll still lose skin.

Personally, for me, B&C is too much of a waste of time, but I have friends that won't do it any other way. Both ways work fine.
