Hi Mike,

I have a Skoosh Kayak Pad and I use it where ever I don't have a closed cell foam seat. The gel conforms well to my sit bones and stops leg numbness. If you are sitting on hard hull it will help. Here is one in my Sea Ranger on top of the floor boards.
It will not offer the leg support of say a Redfish coustom seat however.
