Greetings everyone. I just started on a Guillemot. When I say just started, I pretty much mean JUST started. So far I have the forms cut out, the stands built, the strongback constructed and cut to shape. Over the next week or so, I will be putting the forms on the strongback with the intention of starting to add strips through Thanksgiving onwards.

Here is the funny part. I have never been in a kayak in my life. I suppose I should start taking some basic skills classes sometime soon. I had been looking at kayaks off and on for a while, anytime I went into REI or Academy. They just look nice. Something about the shape.
