I finished 1 canoe and 2 kayaks and am starting my 3rd kayak. I like the bead and cove, so don't try talking me out of that. I also just bought a surface planer. My question is, after cutting the strips, should I cut the bead and cove, then plane to proper thickness, or should I plane first, then add the bead and cove.
