Good info Et, thanks. I ordered the wrong thickener, phenolic micro ballons instead of collidal silica. If I could read, I'd have seen "reddish brown" in the description. Was hoping for something clear or whitish like your pics. Without re-ordering is there some way to achieve the same appearance. I've heard of using baking flour or talcum powder......is this nonsense or will it do in a pinch?
