Then there was the guy who planned a day of kayaking with some friends. His wife was all good with it. So on the appointed Saturday, he got up, dressed quietly, made lunch, put the boat on the car, and backed out into a pouring rain.

It was a wintery mix of snow, sleet, and rain, and the wind was blowing 50 mph. He turned on the radio, and heard that the weather was going to be worse than previously forecasted for the day. He called his buddies on the cell and they decided that it would be best to go another day.

So he pulled back in the garage, went back in the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed. There he cuddled up to his wife's back with a different agenda on his mind, and whispered, "The weather out there is terrible."

She sleepily replied, "Can you believe my stupid husband is out kayaking in that $hi+?"
