Hi. No answers just more newbie questions based on what I have reed and see above...
I see in some of the posts above that people use CA and I have seen hot melt glue to hold the cockpit combing risers on. I was wandering if any body uses slower setting glue and if so how do you hold the strips vertical while the glue dries? Using slow setting wood glue for the riser may be totally insane as it would take about a month+ to complete(one or two strips per day) based on how long the hull and deck took.
Also my cousin had an Idea for building the combing riser on a external jig using band clamps and then gluing it in the deck. Is this a viable option and has any one attempted it?
