So I picked up the first batch of wood today. Fed-Ex also dropped off my B&C bits.

The lumber yard didn't have anything in stock that was 1x12 and 9' long. I wound up with a few pieces of clear 8' lengths of 1x6. Its actually a tad over 1" thick, but I am figuring on some loss when milling the B&C. Its a pretty red color, so there is that. Also, I was wildly incorrect on the price. The two boards I bought today only ran $35.

I'm finishing attaching my forms to the strongback tonight and in the morning, and with any luck, will get all the strips cut tomorrow afternoon. I'd like to be able to strip all day Friday, Sat, and Sunday, after Thanksgiving.

I'll try to get my next write up posted on my blog real soon. fastening the forms to the strongback has thus far, been the biggest challenge.
