Good laugh there Kirk! You know I honestly do shake out my shoes before putting them on. They love dark places like shoes, under furniture, cockpits of kayaks. LOL

However, I do have a scorpion to thank for my first date with Amy. I was pacing the floor trying to get up the nerve to call her and stepped on a scorpion. In great pain, suddenly I was elated. "Hey, she's a nurse- great excuse to call her." I called, she asked what I was doing that night, and I asked if she wanted to go out. Now she's stuck with me. LOL
