Gonna paint mine and save some time. My S&G were clear finish and I ended up painting the bottom later for ease of repair.

I think the plywood version is Bill Whitcomb's Stealth but I stand to be corrected. I built a Merganser from plans and it wasn't so bad, not sure why the strip thing has me intimidated and I waited so long to try.

Pics are worth a thousand words so I am storing as many as I can and ready to start after the eating holiday.
