My laser level does not shoot a pencil lead shaped beam. Rather it shoots out an intense beam straight forward AND a dimmer triangle of light below it. This is handy because I set my laser level up on a camera tripod. and could line everything up on the keelline with one placement of the Laser level. I just eyeballed the waterline. I am building the Guillemot L.
