Strip: Glassing the inside
To the collective "been there - broken that" brain trust - I am building a Cape Ann Storm and have glassed the outside and am smoothing the inside and hope to get the inside glassed this weekend. My question to those who have done it before is this: How crazy do I need to get about keeping the sheer line spacing when I do the inside layup? Do I need to make spacer bars or external fixtures to keep the hull shape or will it be flexible enough after glassing to mate the top and bottom easily? I figure that putting it back on the strong back to cure isn't the way to go.
