: I am building a new Gilly and have my forms on its internal strong
: back. I seem to have lost confidence in by ability to line
: everything up. I think I am close but not sure. I have a laser
: level but not sure how to use it for the line up. Does one drill
: holes in the forms and shoot threw them. Any pointers will be
: appreciated. Thanks Joe
I spoke to Michael at Newfound boatworks; I asked Michael about how to line-up the molds on an internal strongback. He said to just line-up the station molds to one corner of the strongback and the molds should be lined up perfect.
Give him a call if my explanation is unclear. I was considering buying the O.I. CNC cut station molds from him but I was kind of skeptical like you regarding an internal strongback.
Good Luck,
Douglas
