My garage/workshop is the place I go to get my therapy so I can be a nice husband, without all the stress I bring home from work. My wife "sorta" understands but not really. I think she just endures my garage time but I've told her "The garage is the one room in the house that I own, you control the rest" and that seems to be working ok. Either hanging from the ceiling or or racks, I've got two canoes, four plastic kayaks, a One Ocean Kayak Cirrus SLT, a Redfish Spring Run and on the strongback, a Redfish Spring Run just about ready for varnish. On my shelf are plans for a FireStar, a Guillemot and several SOF designs. And, sitting in one of the garage bays is my old Mustang GT convertible that I tinker around with.

My wife and I actually have a very close friend who is a therapist and he told me to build as many boats as I want!

My wife asked me a few weeks ago where the 4 big wood beams hanging in the garage came from and why they were there. I admitted that I found a great deal on these 4x12x12' WRC beams and they would build about 3 boats..... I'm hooked..
