Sorry don't mean to sound grumpy, particularly not toward you personally. I was usst saying that if you want it clear I can't imagine on closer examination than the photo, that it won't have some amount of lint, and any amount is too much for me personally. I'm not a fan of using materials in a way for which they were not intended, because you're risking a failure. For me time is precious, and there 's too much time into a kayak to risk it. I thought it was also worth pointing out that if you like the technique, there is already a material designed to do that: peel ply. Peel ply gets my vote because besides being designed for that use, it's cheaper than paper towel.
