Sigh, another destination to add to my list, Glen. Good to hear the boys got a nice surprise. I could really use a surprise like that right now. Working up north is a very dry experience, especially in the winter. Currently, I am working 120-kms exactly north and almost exacly a bit east of Fort Mac, just below Wood Buffalo National Park. There is NOTHING here. I did scout out a few intersting lakes to paddle as the plane flew over them but there are no access roads to them so it would be a major portage to get to them. Personally, I am now thinking a trip to Michigan is necessary. Linda and I have Fort Warden in mind for the summer (R2K12) so perhaps we might get up there before the end of September. I know Linda is itching to go somewhere interesting.
