Pic please. I am not sure what you mean by a "kink" in the gunwales.

: I'm building Tom Yost's Sea Flea with and for my son. At the
: weekend we setup the frames on a strongback and wrapped the
: stringers around. I had a couple of goes to get everything
: looking fair, but when I took the temporarily screwed and lashed
: frame of the stongback I had some major springback of the keel.
: Basically the resulting frame has no rocker which leaves the
: gunwales with a bit of a kink. The chine stringers seemed to
: have the hardest bend in them, and I think they are
: 'overpowering' the lesser bend in the keel and gunwales.

: Does it sound like I've done something obviously wrong? Does
: anybody have any tips on how I can rescue the build?
