: I am trying to get back to the ribs and strip canoe I started last
: year. No nails though, it's glued, but the ribs give it a nice
: traditional look . . . more of an experiment really but if it
: paddles well and people like it I might make one or two more.
I have a modern Navarro Canoe with cherry ribs and glass outside and it is very nice looking and a well designed canoe. The cherry inside just makes you want ot get in.
