It depends upon which folding kayak you decide to build.
If you want information on the Sonnet kayaks (they are the ones with internal inflatable parts), Tom's instructions are the best I have found.
If you are interested in one of the kayaks with an internal frame, then I suggest that you study his instructions for wood frame kayaks in addition to to his instructions on building folding kayaks.
If you are somewhat mistified by the table of dimentions that establish the cross sections (HAB, etc.) as I was then I would suggest reading the chapters in a good book on wood strip kayak construction that deal with drawing the sections, in addition to Tom's instructions. Nick Schade has a couple of excellent books.
As an old fashion person who prefers paper print to reading a screen I found that it was very useful for me to print out Tom's instructions for my builds.
Also, post where you are for perhaps there is one of the others on this forum who lives near by and would be willing to offer advice in person.
