: .780 decimal feet X 12 X 2.54cm = 23.77cm or 237.7mm ... round up

: Assuming .780 is in cell B8, then the formula is =SUM(B8*12*25.4)

: I use an old version of Excel, so the formula's may be setup
: differently in later versions.

Thanks everyone. After weighing all the suggestions I'm going to try a few different things. 1) I just ordered a metric ruler and 2) I'm altering my spreadsheet to covert to 1/16ths. After finishing my Chuckanut 12 next week, I'm starting on the Sea Bee.
